About

The Toronto Knitters Frolic has been the premier fibre event of the season for nearly 20 years. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed so many things, but our love of yarn and our fibre community remains as strong as ever.

Like most events, this past year ushered us online. Instead of engaging with Guild members, vendors, and partners in-person, we connected with our community virtually. Unfortunately -or fortunately- the same applies to our annual fibre festival, the Toronto Knitter’s Frolic. The COVID-19 pandemic sprung upon us quickly in 2020 and we decided to cancel the Frolic believing that we would be able to reunite in a year. Fast forward one year, and here we are, just emerging from our lockdown cocoons. Well, pandemic or no, we will continue to celebrate the joy of yarn virtually, in hopes that we can soon celebrate in person.

WHO ORGANIZES THE KNITTERS FROLIC?

The Toronto Knitters Frolic is organized by the Toronto Knitters Guild, and is an entirely volunteer-run event.
