Description

Yarn crafts are back in a big way! From knitting and crochet to sewing and weaving, people are re-discovering the beauty of the hand-made. Tapestry weaving is a wonderful way to create decorative items for your home. You can create everything from mats to clothing to wall-hangings easily! In this class we will learn the basics of weaving with little investment. Using a cardboard loom that we make ourselves, we will go over several techniques such as shapes, gradients and texture! This is a perfect way to use up yarns you have leftover from a project while adding beads, trims, feathers, or about anything else you can imagine. We will spend the class being creative and adventurous and will walk away with weaving skills and something beautiful!
